Job Description
- Provide nursing care in a urology ambulatory clinic setting
- Responsibilities include:
- Pre-operative phone calls
- Telephone triage
- Administrative nursing duties
- Nurse-only appointments
- Research support and training
- Addressing unforeseen needs during provider visits
Required Qualifications
- Education: BSN required
- Licensure: Oregon RN license (must be submitted to board to qualify for 90-day license exemption)
- Certifications:
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA provider only, traditional AHA certification required
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent experience working in an ambulatory clinic
- Minimum 1 year recent experience with telephone triage
- Experience with chemotherapy preferred

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Valid government-issued photo ID required on first day
- Background check within 6 months prior to start, including:
- Education verification
- Work history verification (last 2 employers, minimum 7 years work history required on application)
- National sex offender search
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen including methamphetamines within 3 months prior to start
- Physical exam: Required to meet Aya Healthcare standard (within 1 year of start)
- Fit mask test: Required within 1 year prior to start (N95 or equivalent)
- Immunizations and health documents:
- Tdap vaccine or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
- TB questionnaire
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Immune titer, 2 vaccines, or signed declination
- Hepatitis B: Full vaccine series, immune titer, or signed declination
- Varicella: Immune titer, 2 vaccines, or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (deadline 12/01/2025)
- References: Two manager or supervisor references from the last 24 months required
- Competency exams: Required with a passing score of 85% or higher
- Facility-specific compliance:
- Must be fully available for compliance needs up to start date
- Professional appearance policy must be reviewed and signed
- Completion of required online training modules prior to start (Compass modules for RNs)
Additional Notes
- Candidate must complete required facility-specific documents and attestations prior to start
- Onsite respirator clearance and fit testing may be required if not completed prior to start
- Medication override test and orientation materials will be provided for RNs after start
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
