Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Travel)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

• Work in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring smooth flow of procedures.
• Assist and pass in cases, help turn over OR rooms to keep surgical cases flowing.
• May float to main OR if needed.
• Block scheduling accommodations will be attempted.

Schedule

• Shift: 4 days of 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
• On call as needed

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required, must be from NBSTA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required with strong cardiac surgery skills.
• Thoracic da Vinci experience preferred.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted).
