Job Opportunity: Dietary Services - Travel/Contract

Location: Greenville, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Requirements

• Specialty: Licensed Dietician
• State License: Licensed Dietician Texas
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• EMR System: Cerner

Compliance & Documentation

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Background Check:

  • 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • Must include all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
  • Includes SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Facis level 3
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
• Physical Exam: Initial and updated annually, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (results required before start)
• Immunizations and Health Requirements:

  • Tdap vaccine
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year (updated annually)
  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
  • Hepatitis B: Series or positive titer required
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine (required Oct 1 - Mar 30, due by Nov 1; medical/religious exemptions accepted with mask requirement)
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Dose 1 and fully vaccinated dose if applicable; medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Additional Certifications (As Applicable)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - as required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - as required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - as required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - as required
• Tech Certification Verification - National (for allied professionals)
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Competency Exams (as applicable)
• Core Parts I, II, III (for subcontractors)

History & References

• Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted)
• Performance evaluations if worked over 1 year with the system
• Employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist updated annually (as applicable)
• Internal evaluation if worked over 2 years with the system
