Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour nights
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Number of Rooms: 10
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years (preferred)
• Prior Travel Experience: Required
• Charting System: Epic (experience required)
• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – preferred

Requirements & Compliance

• Licensure: Primary source online verification required (NURSYS verification for RN)
• Background Checks:

  • 7-year background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
  • Education verification required (highest level)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical exam within 12 months of start
  • Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
  • Adult TDAP vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Required immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Negative 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required
• Competency Exams:

  • Medication test/pharmacology competency exam (minimum 80% score)
  • Color blind testing (online acceptable)
  • Core competency exams as applicable, annual completion required
• Documentation:

  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID
  • I9 and E-Verify compliance
  • Photo for badge
  • Complete employment application/resume
  • Unit-specific skills checklist annually
  • 7-year work history verification

Additional Notes

• Candidates residing in certain Texas counties are not eligible for this travel contract.
• Orientation and fingerprinting requirements may apply depending on location.
• Some certifications and competencies are required as applicable based on the role and facility policies.

This position is ideal for experienced ICU Registered Nurses with prior travel experience who are proficient in Epic charting and hold the necessary certifications.
