• Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: 36 hours per week

• Float Requirements: Yes (Medical-Surgical/Telemetry units)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Certifications

• Required Specialty Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience (Critical Care experience preferred)
• Education & Certifications: Required (specific certifications and education modules consistent with unit standards)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Unit Information

• Unit: Special Care Unit (SCU)
• Number of Beds: 8
• Patient Ratios:

  • ICU: 1:1 or 2:1
  • Stepdown: 3:1
  • Medical/Surgical/Telemetry: 4:1
• Equipment: Cardiac monitors, ventilator management, hemodynamic lines
• EMR System: Epic
• Patient Population: Critical Care patients

Additional Notes

• Candidate should be willing to work a short 2-week night shift stint before transitioning to days.
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color acceptable.
