Description

Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech (Travel Position)

Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Overview

Work in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring smooth procedure flow.
Assist in turning over OR rooms to keep surgical cases flowing efficiently.
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 4-10 hour shifts per week.
On-call as needed.
Number of ORs in unit: 4.

Required Certifications

BLS (Basic Life Support)
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the CVOR setting.
Strong cardiac surgery skills required.
Experience with thoracic DaVinci surgical system preferred.

Additional Information

EMR system used: Cerner.
Hospital-issued scrubs provided.
Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted).
