Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT), Rehabilitation

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide physical therapy services primarily in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
  • Typical patient load includes 2 to 3 evaluations per day (60 minutes each) and approximately 11 treatment sessions (30 minutes each).
  • Treat one patient at a time.
  • Patient population is typically adult, but experience with all age groups is welcome.
  • Use of standard PT modalities (e.g., Estim, Ultrasound) expected; device-specific training provided.
  • Physical therapy goals include strength building, mobility improvement, pain reduction, injury prevention, and rehabilitation after surgery, stroke, injury, or chronic illness.
  • No non-billable orientation required.
  • Dress code: personal scrubs or business casual (athleisure/stretchy clothing allowed, but no leggings or crop shirts). No open-toe or backless shoes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of current Physical Therapy experience (No new graduates).
  • Outpatient Orthopedic experience required.
  • Experience with EPIC and Expro systems required.
  • Must have an active New Hampshire or Compact Physical Therapy license at time of profile upload.
  • Must have own vehicle for assignment.
  • Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not explicitly required.
  • Must include permanent address in profile.
  • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO allowed. Requests after offer will not be approved and may lead to rescinded offer.
  • Must provide current work history and skills checklist pertinent to Physical Therapy specialty.
  • Must have active American Heart Association BLS certification.

Additional Notes

  • Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
  • No schedule accommodations or block scheduling requests will be accepted.
  • This assignment does not allow working in conjunction with another permanent placement or travel assignment.
  • Facility is a 169-bed regional referral center offering a broad range of therapies for all ages and abilities.
  • Location offers access to outdoor recreational activities such as hiking and sightseeing in New England.

This position is ideal for experienced outpatient orthopedic physical therapists seeking a temporary assignment in a scenic New Hampshire location with a well-established healthcare facility.
