Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) (Nights)

Location: Glendale, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) on night shifts. The facility is a Level I Adult Trauma Center with state-of-the-art surgical suites and a 200-bed patient tower, providing comprehensive care for critical injuries.


Requirements

  • Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
  • Experience: Minimum 24 months (2 years) of current CVICU experience required
  • Licensure:
    • Active Arizona or Compact RN license required
    • Nursys license verification must show no hits at time of submission
  • Certifications:
    • American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
    • American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • Vaccinations:
    • Flu vaccination required (declinations accepted with proper forms)
  • Driver’s License: Required (Note: Candidates with an Arizona home address on their driver’s license will NOT be considered)
  • Background: Must meet specific background compliance requirements as per facility policy
  • Other:
    • Skills checklist specific to CVICU discipline required
    • Resume must include all facilities, facility size, beds, trauma level, and units worked in
    • Learning modules must be completed prior to assignment start
    • Return to Office (RTO) requests will not be approved within the first week or on holidays and cannot exceed 7 days

Preferences

  • Prior travel experience is preferred but not required

Additional Notes

  • Start date should be on or very soon after the order start date
  • All shifts, departments, and locations the candidate is willing to work must be clearly indicated in the submission
  • The facility assesses a 2% payment discount fee and a 2% technology fee on all transactions
  • Assignments may be canceled with 7 days written notice without penalty

This position is ideal for experienced CVICU nurses looking for a temporary assignment in a high-acuity, trauma-level hospital setting.
