Description

Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (Outpatient)

Location: West Reading, Pennsylvania
Employment Type: Long Term
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Evaluate patients with lymphedema or related conditions
Perform Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT), including:
- Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD)
- Compression bandaging and garment fitting
- Therapeutic exercises
- Skin care education
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on home management and prevention
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Pennsylvania
Certification in Lymphedema Therapy from an accredited program (e.g., CLT or equivalent) OR extensive experience treating lymphedema patients
Strong knowledge of the lymphatic system and related conditions
Ability to work compassionately with patients experiencing chronic conditions

Shift Details

Hours: 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
On Call: No
