Job Opportunity: Echo Tech (Travel Position)

Location: Victoria, Texas
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Call: Every 3rd weekend and rotational call during the week
Floating: Not required
48 Hour Option: Not available
Block Scheduling: Not available
Maximum Return to Office (RTO): 3 days
Patient Ratio: 1:1
EMR Systems: Medhost and Carestream
Scrub Color: Any color except hunter green

Requirements

Graduate of an approved program in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography or non-invasive cardiovascular technology
Registry preferred in echocardiography and vascular technology/sonography by ARDMS or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
BLS certification required
Must demonstrate advanced knowledge and skill in performing trans-thoracic contrast echocardiograms
Experience in placing intravenous lines and administering IV medications is desirable
Experience in EKG interpretation and cardiac and vascular stress testing is preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in echo and vascular
Vascular registration highly preferred
Will perform echos, venous/arterial dopplers
Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility
