Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Dialysis)

Location: Valentine, Nebraska
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Backfill position for a Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of dialysis experience (may consider candidates with at least 1 year of experience)
- Active RN license

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS (Basic Life Support), preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred

Required Documents & Compliance

Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
Emergency Contact Form (required prior to start)
Background Check within 1 year of start (includes SS Trace, County searches for last 7 years, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
State License verification (primary source online verification)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for all RNs)
Competency Exam as applicable (must meet or exceed passing score)
Physical Exam within 1 year of start
Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start (with specific guidelines for past positive TB)
Immunization or titer proof for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (Titer, Declination, or Vaccine Series)
- Varicella (Titer, 2 vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
