Travel RN - CVOR

Job Summary

• Provide quality, compassionate care by maintaining professional nursing standards and fostering positive therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Circulate in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
• Supervise LPNs, PCAs, Ultrasound Techs, Ortho Techs, and other non-licensed staff.
• Provide leadership by delegating standards of care and supporting team members.

Schedule

• Shift: 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40 hours weekly)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as required

Education & Licenses

• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or Compact license (No temporary licenses accepted)
• NURSYS registration required

Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS or Red Cross equivalent

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience preferred; will consider 18 months under highest professional license.
• At least 1 year experience in CVOR specialty required (higher specialty experience requirement prevails).
