Job Opportunity: Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation (Travel Contract)
Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
Specialty: Occupational Therapy - Pediatric Outpatient Rehabilitation (OP Rehabilitation Pediatric MV - OT)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday
- Shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
- 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (40 hours total)
- Guaranteed 37 hours per week
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Occupational Therapy experience (cannot include school fieldwork alone; must have outpatient experience)
- Certifications:
- BLS Certification
- Licensed with a Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
Job Details
- Setting: Outpatient pediatric rehabilitation (no floating to inpatient units)
- Patient Population: Pediatric patients with developmental disorders such as cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and others
- Typical Caseload: Approximately 9 patients treated per day
- Orientation: Half-day orientation followed by 1 week of limited cases and shadowing
- Dress Code: Business casual with closed-toed shoes
- Team Environment: Collaborative, young, and fun team with an emphasis on flexibility and fast learning
- Additional Notes:
- No weekend or holiday requirements
- Must be flexible and able to learn quickly
- Outdoor activities are common in the area
This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with pediatric outpatient experience looking for a 13-week travel contract in a supportive and engaging environment.
