Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Cardiac/Vascular Interventional Lab
• Proficient in two or more specialties within Interventional Radiology
• Vascular experience preferred
• No explicit prior travel experience required

Certifications Required

• ARRT (R)
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS (AHA) (valid through 12/4/2025)

Schedule & Shift Details

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each
• Call/Late shifts required
• Call requirements: 1-2 shifts per week plus every 3rd or 4th weekend
• Possible holiday call (one holiday call day required)
• 30-minute call back time

Equipment Used

• Canon equipment in Body/Vascular IR rooms
• Siemens Artis Q and Siemens Iconos in Neuro rooms
• GE ultrasound equipment in all rooms

Core Duties

• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic monitoring
• Maintain sterile technique during procedure setup
• Maintain patient and unit confidentiality
• Prepare entry site using sterile technique
• Continuously monitor patient’s ECG and blood pressure; document and advise physician
• Participate in on-call rotation and be available for emergent procedures 24/7
• Act as code team member, initiate resuscitative measures under physician supervision
• Document all procedures and manage inventory control and billing accurately
• Participate in educational and in-service opportunities
• Instruct radiography students on patient positioning, technique, and equipment use
• Maintain specialization in Neuroradiology and Vascular IR procedures
• Participate in inventory management and performance improvement activities
• Prepare patients prior to procedures

Additional Notes

• Travel teams must be submitted together
• Driver’s license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
• Previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years before reapplying
• Previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after 1 full year of travel at this facility
