Job Opportunity: Dietary Services - Travel/Contract

Location: Clinton, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Weekends Required: No
Call Required: No
Floating: As needed within scope

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Dietary Services
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers accepted)
• Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • State license

Facility Requirements

• Locals allowed: No
• Radius restriction: 50 miles

Compliance & Documentation

• Proof of I9 or Attestation
• Government issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Proof of E-Verify or Attestation
• Residency Declaration Form (if working on a compact license)
• Background Check:

  • 7-year criminal check within a year of start, updated annually
  • Education verification required
  • Additional checks including SS Trace, Counties, Nationwide, Sex Offender, Facis level 3
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for renewals
• Transcript/Diploma or Education Verification required
• Drug Testing: 9-panel drug screen within last 12 months (required within 30 days of start)
• Physical Exam: Initial and updated annually, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and Health Documents:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
  • Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year, updated annually
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Titer or 2 vaccines (boosters if needed)
  • Hepatitis B: Titer, vaccine series, or declination
  • Varicella: Titer, vaccine, or history of disease
  • Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation required during flu season (9/1 - 4/30) with exemptions subject to approval

Additional Requirements

• References: Two professional/clinical references required
• Performance Evaluations: Required if candidate has worked 1+ year or has 2+ assignments
• Employment Application/Resume: Complete application required
• Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually for applicable unit
• Competency Exams: Medication Test/Pharmacology and other competency exams as applicable
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (HIPAA compliance)

This position does not require weekends or call, and floating is only as needed within the scope of practice. First-time travel healthcare workers are welcome to apply.
