Nursing Contract Opportunity - Bethel, Alaska

Job Summary

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process: assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on nursing practice standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide quality, cost-effective, and efficient care.
• Serve as a resource person when needed.
• Apply age-specific considerations and cultural diversity in patient care.
• Care for patients from birth to elderly, including post-surgical and behavioral health patients.
• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments every 24 hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN-approved nursing education program.
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in good standing in the State of Alaska.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• International nurses eligible if they have completed NCLEX, TOEFL, and Visa Screen.

Additional Requirements

• Proof of completed COVID-19 vaccinations required.
