Emergency Room Nurse - New Jersey (Mullica Hill)

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required.
• Travel experience required (must have completed at least one prior travel contract).
• BSN degree required.
• High volume/fast pace experience preferred.

Certifications / Licensure

• NJ Nursing License or Compact License.
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support).
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
• Certifications must be current; pending or expiring within 30 days of submission are NOT accepted.

Work Schedule

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend or 3 per month depending on needs.
• No holiday shifts required.
• Return to work (RTO) requests: No more than 3 days accepted.
• No block scheduling or special requests allowed.

Orientation

• Orientation is mandatory and must be completed fully; failure to do so results in immediate termination.
• Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules on Monday (must be completed by end of day Monday).
• In-person classes typically Tuesday through Thursday at various locations.
• Unit-based orientation schedule provided by manager.
• Badge ID must be obtained in person during orientation (photo submissions not accepted); badge required for clock-ins.

  • Confidentiality and Core Mandatory Annual Training
  • National and State Sanction/Exclusion Checks

This position is ideal for experienced Emergency Room nurses with prior travel experience seeking a fast-paced, high-volume environment in New Jersey.
