Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Contract
Location: Seattle, Washington
Position Details

- Prior Travel Experience: Not required (First Time Traveler OK)
- License: Must have an active Washington State license
Work Schedule & Unit Information
- Unit focuses on breast imaging, screening, and diagnostic procedures
- Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays
- Open the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve
- Outpatient clinic setting in a Medical Office Building on campus
- Typical day off during the week varies (usually Tuesday or Wednesday) — flexibility required
- Patient Age Group: Adults and Geriatrics
Required Skills & Procedures

- 3D Mammography
- Diagnostic Mammograms
- Digital Mammography
- Screening Mammograms
- Additional preferred skill: Experience with Hologic equipment
- EPIC system skills required
Certifications & Licenses Required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- ARRT (Mammography)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Active Washington State License
Orientation & Attire
- Orientation: 8 hours
- Scrubs: Any color
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu vaccine during flu season or declination
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respirator fit testing required for travel candidates (updated annually)
- References: Minimum 2 supervisor references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within the last 3 years
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years required
Additional Requirements
- Must complete Providence Health and Services annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via WorkRamp LMS platform
- Epic training modules required prior to or shortly after start
- Float policy acknowledgment: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance
- Photo for badge: Not required for this specific facility
Summary
This is a travel contract opportunity for a Radiology/Cardiology technologist with at least 1 year of experience, licensed in Washington State, to work in an outpatient breast imaging unit in Seattle. The role requires proficiency in mammography procedures and EPIC system skills, with a standard Monday-Friday schedule and flexible weekday off. Orientation and compliance with Providence Health and Services documentation, immunization, and training requirements are mandatory. Prior travel experience is not required.
