Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Wichita Falls, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Schedule: 84 hours biweekly with a 72-hour guarantee
- Start Dates: February 2 or February 16
- Floating required, primarily supporting Medical-Surgical units
Experience Requirements
- Specialty: Registered Nurse

Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background Check within 1 year of start (includes SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check within 30 days of start
- HHS/OIG check within 30 days of start
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 1 year (2-step PPD or equivalent)
- TB Questionnaire required regardless of TB status
- Rubeola (Measles): 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Mumps: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines, positive titer, or history of chickenpox
- Drug Testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (instant acceptable)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine required (or facility-specific medical/religious exemption)
- COVID-19 Vaccination documentation required
Competency & Documentation
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Skills Checklist (annual update required)
- Employment Application/Resume required
- 2 References within 3 years of start
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Various facility-specific forms and acknowledgments must be completed prior to start (e.g., Parking Policy, Code of Conduct, Confidentiality, Orientation, etc.)
- Flu Medical or Religious Exemption forms if applicable
