Job Overview

Seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a senior care community. This role offers the opportunity to work with older adults across skilled nursing, personal care, and independent living settings within one campus.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality occupational therapy evaluations and treatments for residents
• Develop and implement individualized plans to improve mobility, safety, and independence
• Collaborate closely with rehab team, nursing staff, and healthcare partners
• Document services using Net Health (training provided)
• Support a positive, resident-centered culture within the therapy department

Requirements

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist license in good standing
• Experience in senior care preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Compassionate and professional approach to patient care

Compliance Requirements

• Two-step PPD or TB test within 30 days of start date
• CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• COVID vaccination records or approved exemption
• Background check and fingerprinting
• Current resume
• Physical exam completed by a physician, PA, or NP
