Job Opportunity: Nuclear Med Tech (Radiology / Cardiology)

Location: Rockingham, North Carolina

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology (Nuclear Med Tech)

Certifications & Licenses (as applicable)

• Government-Issued Photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
• Background Check within 1 year covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required based on unit/specialty
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required based on unit/specialty (if applicable)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – Required based on unit/specialty
• State License (Primary Source Verification) – Name on license must match legal name
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable)
• Tech Certification Verification (National) – Required for allied health professionals such as MLT, Ultrasound Techs, etc.
• NPI Number – Must be provided and verified prior to start (if applicable)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for all candidates)
• Competency Exam (as applicable to profession/specialty)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for certain units)

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start (to meet standard)
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Required within 10 years
• Negative TB Test or Chest X-Ray: PPD within 3 months or Qgold/TSPOT within 1 year, updated annually
• TB Questionnaire: Required if history of positive TB, updated annually
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; boosters if no prior records
• Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or declination required
• Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days of start (includes marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, opiates, etc.)
• Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption required during flu season (11/15 - 03/31)

Additional Requirements

• Two clinical references required (one must be from a supervisor or higher)
• Complete employment application/resume
• Annual Skills Checklist
• Completion of facility-specific modules (up to 21 hours) prior to start date
• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (required annually)
