Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (OR RN - Orthopedics and Ophthalmology)

Shift Details

• Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 4 days per week
• No guaranteed hours
• No weekends or major holidays required
• Rotating late schedule twice a week to wrap up cases that run late

Required Certifications

• Registered Nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

Experience

• Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (updated annually)
• State License primary source verification and NURSYS verification prior to start and upon expiration
• Competency exams as applicable (Medication Test/Pharmacology and Specialty Competency Exam)
• Physical exam within the last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframes
• Annual TB questionnaire if applicable
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug screening within the last 12 months
• Flu vaccination documentation for current season (declinations and exemptions accepted)
• COVID vaccine or declination documentation
• Two professional references within the last 3 years
• Skills checklist required
