Emergency Room Nurse - Vineland, New Jersey

Job Summary

Seeking an Emergency Room nurse with recent experience in a high-volume, fast-paced ED setting. Must be willing to float to nearby ED locations if needed.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one travel contract)

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Certifications / Licensure

• New Jersey Nursing License or Compact License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Certifications must be current; pending or expiring within 30 days are not accepted

Work Schedule

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend or 3 per month, depending on needs
• Holidays: None
• Return to Office (RTO) policy: No more than 3 days accepted
• No block scheduling or special shift requests allowed

Orientation

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination
• Orientation includes virtual and in-person components, with specific class attendance required
• Badge ID must be obtained in person during orientation (photo submissions not accepted)

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with standard healthcare screenings and verifications including background check, drug screen, immunizations (COVID-19, Influenza, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TdaP), physical exam, and various mandatory trainings and attestations

Contract Length

• 8 weeks
