Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position

Location: Arlington, Washington
Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Call Required: No
• Floating: Ability to float to sister facility (Skagit Valley Hospital) required
• EMR System: EPIC
• Locals Allowed: Yes

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: 1 year
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Additional Requirements

• Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed out of county)
• State license primary source verification
• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exam required
• Photo for badge
• Confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest statements to be reviewed and signed

Health & Safety Requirements

• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
• Immunizations or positive titers for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (3 doses or declination)
• 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)

Notes

• No prior travel experience required
• Floating to a sister facility is expected
• Must be able to work full 12-hour day shifts
