Job Details

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour shifts (no weekends)
• Shift Times: Vary between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Required Certifications:

  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
  • State License (Illinois)
• Years of Experience Required: 5 years (higher end of 3-5 years range)
• First-time Travelers: Not accepted

• Local Candidates Accepted: No (75 mile radius restriction)
• Pending State License Accepted: No
• Return to Origin (RTO) Restrictions: 7 days

Required Credentials & Compliance

Certifications & Licenses

• CNMT certification
• State professional license verification (primary source verification required)
• ACLS, BLS, and other certifications as applicable by unit
• IV Certification (if applicable, depending on state and role)
• Additional certifications may be required based on unit (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC, CPI/MAB)

Background Checks & Screening

• Criminal background check within 6 months (7-year search including statewide and nationwide checks)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM quarterly checks
• HHS/OIG quarterly checks
• Fingerprinting required for Illinois long-term care or rehab units
• Education verification of highest degree related to profession
• State-specific exclusion and registry searches as applicable

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test (N95 respirator) annually
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine or declination
• Negative TB test or chest x-ray (2 negative PPDs or equivalent)
• Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination/declination
• Drug testing within 1 year of start, including a comprehensive panel
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
• Hepatitis B declination required (not vaccination)

Facility & Job Specific Requirements

• Unit-specific competency exams and skills checklists required annually
• Performance evaluations may be requested but are not mandatory for extensions or per diem
