Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse

Location: Marlton, New Jersey
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Strong, recent Home Health experience required
• Patients primarily discharged from hospitals and nursing facilities
• Common diagnoses: Wound care, wound vacs, Pleurx drains, ostomies, Heart Failure, Diabetes, oncology, post-surgeries, Orthopedics
• Procedures include wound care and management of various drains and ostomies
• Productivity expectation: 6 visits per day (admissions count as 2 visits)
• Work schedule includes every 5th weekend and every other holiday

Requirements

• Licensure: Valid New Jersey nursing license required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Home Health nursing experience
• Skills: Med Surg skills, OASIS and EPIC EMR experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required

Certifications

• ACLS (AHA or ARC only)
• BLS (AHA or ARC only)
• Other certifications as applicable (PALS, NRP) depending on unit assignment
• Certifications must be current and not expiring within 30 days of contract start

Compliance & Documentation

• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG
• Proof of I9, E-Verify, government-issued photo ID
• Physical exam within last 12 months
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
• Drug screening (10 panel, excluding THC or with THC plus 10 other panels) within 6 months
• Flu vaccination or approved exemption required by October 31 (seasonal)
• Visual acuity exam (20/40 or better)
• Required health titers or vaccinations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Annual updates for TB questionnaire, skills checklist, and work history verification (minimum 1 year prior work history verified for NJ candidates)
• Facility-specific documents including badge photo, personal/auto insurance for home health

• No mileage reimbursement provided
• Candidates must complete orientation safety manual acknowledgment
• Pass/fail testing (e.g., dysrhythmia test) may be required depending on unit assignment

This position is ideal for experienced Home Health RNs with strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population in a travel/contract role.
