Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) - Hawaii (Contract)

Schedule

• 36 hours per week after orientation
• Day or Night shift availability (to be determined)
• Must be flexible to work various shift lengths and days
• No guarantee of hours or shift preference

Job Description

• Provide med/surg level care for patients 18 and over
• May float to surgical pediatrics or transitional care units
• Use equipment such as Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes, etc.

Required Experience

• Minimum 2+ years in med/surg or higher level of care

Licensure & Certifications

• Must have an active Hawaii RN license by start of assignment
• BLS required
• ACLS preferred

Orientation & Training

• Department-specific training included in the first week of orientation
• Must arrive the Thursday before start date for employee health appointment

Additional Information

• Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
• Unit size: 50 beds (Medical)
• Dress code: Professional nursing attire, closed toe shoes, no specific scrub colors
