Job Opportunity: Acute Care Physical Therapist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
Beds: 104 staffed beds
Charting System: Epic
Schedule: 7 days on (7-10 hour shifts), 7 days off; weekends required; block schedules required
Floating: Yes, position floats between units

Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask testing (annual, onsite or valid record within 1 year)
- TDAP Vaccine within 10 years or signed declination
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR Vaccines or Positive Titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or signed declination (required during flu season)
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Respiratory Safety Clearance (annual for travel candidates)
Additional Requirements
- Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other Providence facilities within reasonable distance
- Badge Photo: Passport style with neutral background required
- Completion of Providence WorkRamp Modules (varies by region, specialty, and employment type) including:
- Core Regulatory Modules (annual)
- Specialty Specific Modules (ER, L&D, Leadership roles, etc.)
- Regional Core and Specialty Modules as applicable
- Basics of Trauma Informed Care (required at this facility)
- Epic Training Modules: Required for Epic access and must be completed within orientation timeframe
Schedule & Work Environment
- 7 days on, 7 days off schedule with 7-10 hour shifts
- Weekend work required
- Option for alternate schedule (Thursday-Monday with Tuesday/Wednesday off) if 7 on/7 off is not preferred
- No overtime approved beyond scheduled hours
- Scrub color: Any color allowed on all units
