Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) (Days)

Location: New Lenox, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Description

• Assess physiological, emotional, and spiritual needs of patients within the assigned unit.
• Plan and implement nursing care to meet patient needs.
• Lead and oversee subordinate personnel to ensure nursing care plans are executed.
• Conduct patient evaluations, document patient progress, treatment planning, and discharge functions.

Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience (highest required years of experience)
• Open-heart surgery experience required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required (must be active).
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (declinations will not be approved).
• Illinois nursing license required and must be included in submission.
• Prior Cerner experience strongly preferred.
• Thoracic, vascular, and interventional experience preferred.

Additional Information

• Must provide resume, skills checklist (within 1 year), 2 supervisory references, certifications, license, and COVID vaccination status.
• All certifications and licenses must be active at the time of submission.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
