Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Job Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience (X-ray Technologist or RCIS with at least 2 years cath lab experience accepted)
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM plus on-call
• On-Call Requirement: Yes, 10–12 days per month including weekends and holidays
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, on-call coverage required
• Ratios: 1:1
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross accepted
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross accepted
• ARRT R & CCI RCIS preferred but not required

• Proficiency in cardiac and peripheral procedures, including device implants

• Attendance Policy: Zero-fault attendance policy; missed shifts count as unexcused. Two missed shifts result in a warning; three or more may result in cancellation. Applies on a rolling calendar year.

Time Off / Holiday Policy

• No holiday RTO (Request Time Off) approved the day before, day of, or day after a holiday
• Maximum 5 total RTO days allowed in the 13-week assignment
• No additional RTO allowed after contract submission or while working on contract

Compliance and Onboarding Requirements

• Must commit to going into the lab within 48-72 hours of signing the contract
• Background check required within 30 days of start, including a 7-year criminal search across all counties worked in the last 7 years
• Copy of diploma or transcript required (cannot be pending at start)
• Physical exam within one year of start, stating "cleared to work" with physician's signature
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start (with additional requirements if prior positive)
• Required immunizations or titers: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Drug test (10-panel) required within 30 days of start with negative results
• Flu vaccine or approved exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – May 1)
• Must complete facility-specific modules and training prior to start
• Badge photo required before start date (plain white background, clear front-facing photo)
• Various facility-specific documents and agreements must be signed prior to start

References and Verification

• Two references required prior to start
• Work history verification for last 3 years (attestations acceptable; can be pending at start)
• Annual skills checklist and performance evaluations required if applicable
