Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Mount Vernon, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Job Details
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Schedule: 06:45 AM – 07:15 PM
- Weekends: Every other weekend required
- Call: Not required
- Floating: As needed within scope
- EMR System: EPIC
- Block Scheduling: Willing to discuss during interview
- Locals Allowed: Yes
- First Time Travelers Accepted: Yes
Experience & Certifications
- Specialty: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
- Required Experience: Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – required within 6 months of hire for L&D
- C-EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) – required within 18 months of hire for L&D
Additional Requirements
- Background check covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
- Education verification (US equivalency documentation if education completed out of county)
- State License primary source verification
- Competency exams including medication/pharmacology as applicable
- Photo for badge
- Confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest statements
- Health documents including:
- Tdap vaccine or signed declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
- MMR vaccines or positive titers for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccines or positive titer
- 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
- Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
- Two professional references completed within 1 year of start
