Job Details

  • Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • On-Call: None
  • Floating: No floating required

Experience Requirements

  • Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not required

Certifications Required

  • ARRT N (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Nuclear Medicine)
  • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be AHA certified; ARC may be acceptable with approval
  • Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC) but primarily focus on Nuclear Medicine Tech certifications

Background and Compliance Requirements

  • Comprehensive background checks covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, including:
    • SSN Trace
    • County, State, Nationwide Criminal Search
    • Sex Offender Search
    • Education Verification
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required upon hire
  • Pennsylvania Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results required within 90 days of start
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search required within 90 days of start
  • Pennsylvania PATCH and Medicheck Search Results required within 30-90 days of start

Health and Safety Requirements

  • Physical exam within 2 months of start
  • Fit test questionnaire and fit mask test (not required for 100% remote non-clinical roles)
  • Immunizations and titers:
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray (annual updates not required)
    • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or vaccination series required
    • Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer or completed vaccine series required (declinations not accepted)
    • Varicella: Positive titer or vaccination series required
  • Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (9-panel without THC also acceptable)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or signed declination with facility-specific form
  • Seasonal flu vaccination required for new candidates starting October through May, with declination options under specific conditions
  • Respirator safety clearance required for candidates starting April 7, 2025, and beyond

Competency and Testing Requirements

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (passing score 80%)
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam for RNs & LVNs (passing score 88%)
  • Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) for RNs & LVNs (passing score 88%)
  • Other competency exams as applicable

Documentation and Verification

  • Minimum of 2 professional references from employment within 12 months of start
  • Complete employment application including 7 years of work history with explanations for gaps over 90 days
  • Work history verification required for non-clinical and remote candidates
  • Education and license/certification verification prior to start and upon expiration
  • Facility-specific documents such as badge photo and affidavit for provisional employment required

  • No on-call duties
  • No floating assignments
  • Candidates must comply with all background, health, and competency requirements prior to start
  • This is a travel/contract position with a 13-week assignment length
