Job Opportunity: Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours.
Orientation schedule provided.
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: EPIC.

Requirements

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Room (ER)
Experience: Minimum 1 year ER experience required.
Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - required
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required
Licenses: Valid nursing license verification required.
Additional:
- Driver’s license required.
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission.
- Work history/resume required.
- Copy of required certifications.
- One supervisory reference required at time of submission.
Prior Travel Experience: Not required (first-time travelers are welcome).
Other: Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Compensation & Benefits Highlights

Night Bonus: 16 hours
Overtime/Holiday pay multiplier: 1.15x
Call Back pay multiplier: 1.5x with 2-hour minimum
On Call pay: hourly rate provided
Charge/Precept pay: hourly rate provided

This position is ideal for RNs with at least 1 year of ER experience looking for a temporary assignment in Sioux City, IA, with no prior travel experience required.
