Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel Contract in Twin Falls, Idaho
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Twin Falls, Idaho
- Specialty: Physical Therapy
- Setting: Acute Inpatient and Acute Rehab (potentially ICU depending on experience and need)
- Shift: Four 10-hour shifts (07:30 AM - 6:00 PM), no self-scheduling
- Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends (about every 4th weekend) unless assigned regular weekend shifts
- Holiday Requirements: As needed
- Orientation: 2-3 days unit/department specific orientation, typically Monday-Friday 5 eight-hour shifts for onboarding
- EMR System: EPIC
Patient and Department Information
- Patients Treated per Day: 10 to 12
- Number of PTs on Shift: 6-7
- Common Diagnoses: Orthopedic total joints, neurological (strokes, occasional brain injuries), medical, general ICU
- Support Staff: Rehab aides and 2 PTAs
- Dress Code: Scrubs permitted, must not match other departments’ colors (colors provided upon hire)
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years as a licensed Physical Therapist, with at least 1 year of experience in acute inpatient or rehab settings (higher requirement of 2 years applies)
- Licensure: Active Physical Therapist license in Idaho
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required; first-time travelers are welcome
Additional Notes
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel contract.
