Job Opportunity: RN ICU (Indiana, Anderson)

Position Details

  • Specialty: Registered Nurse - ICU

  • Unit: Medical ICU (20 beds, mixed ICU/Step Down)
  • Patient Ratios: ICU 2:1, Step Down 3:1, Floating to sister unit with ratios 1:3 or 4:1 depending on patient acuity
  • Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)

Experience Requirements

  • Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical, updated annually)

Health & Immunization Requirements

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive titer; no declinations accepted
  • Varicella: Proof of immunity or two vaccines; no declinations accepted
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
  • Hepatitis B: Vaccination series completion or signed declination
  • Fit Test: Required annually; preferred before start, onsite completion possible (PAPR not onsite)
  • TB Testing: 2-step PPD or IGRA within specified timeframes; positive results require chest X-ray and questionnaire
  • Health Statement: Statement of good health or physical exam prior to assignment, updated annually
  • 12 Panel Drug Screen: Within 30 days prior to start, updated annually

Professional Requirements

  • Resume/Profile submission required
  • Two professional references required prior to first assignment
  • Criminal background check including SSN trace, OIG, National Sex Offender, and others within 30 days prior to start; updated annually
  • Employment verification for past 7 years; updated annually
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation required at start and with extensions
  • Badge photo: Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations
