Location: Abilene, Texas

Job Description
- Schedule: 5x8 hour shifts with rotating weekends and on-call duties
- Must have experience in both echocardiography (echo) and vascular ultrasound
- Facility strongly prefers candidates registered in both echo (ARDMS with RDCS or RCS) and vascular (RVT or RCS) for adults
- Candidates with echo registry and vascular experience may be considered
- ARDMS or CCI credentials are acceptable
- Pediatric experience is a bonus
Required Experience
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update)
- Pass/Fail Testing for Telemetry RNs (if applicable)
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year background check required within 1 year of start; updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start
- Education verification (highest level) required
- State-specific checks for Texas (DADS Employability Status and Employee Misconduct Registry) within 30 days of start
- Drug testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen with THC within 10 business days prior to start; no exceptions for positive results including marijuana or CBD
- Physical exam required within 1 year of start, must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
- Fit mask (3M 1860 Regular or 1860S) required and must be updated annually
- Immunizations and titers required:
- TDAP within 10 years
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (or equivalent testing) within 1 year
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; boosters if titers negative/equivocal
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination accepted; booster or declination post titer if low/equivocal
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if titer negative/equivocal
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); religious or medical exemptions accepted
- Drug testing must be completed within facility timeframe and prior to start
