Job Details

• Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital
• Shift: Monday to Friday, 5x8 hour day shifts (8:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
• Weekend Coverage: 1 weekend per month required
• Start Date: ASAP
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty (Speech-Language Pathology)
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• License: Texas SLP License required (proof must be provided at time of submission)
• Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
• Special Requirements:

  • Experience with outpatient physical therapy, activities of daily living (ADLs), and stroke rehabilitation is helpful
  • Must be able to work inpatient rehab setting
• Attire: Any solid color scrubs, close-toed shoes required
• Parking: Free
• Mileage Reimbursement: None

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
• Emergency Contact Form prior to start
• Background checks within 1 year (including SS Trace, County searches, Nationwide, Sex Offender)
• Annual EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks
• Certifications:

  • ACLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
  • BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• State License verification (primary source online verification)
• Competency exams as applicable
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask required prior to start (any mask acceptable)
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Immunizations or titers for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 1 year of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• COVID vaccination or declination required
• References:

  • 2 professional references for travel, allied, or per diem acute care
  • 1 professional reference for per diem non-acute care
• Skills checklist required annually
• Employment verification of most recent employer required

• Locals are accepted for this position
• Must provide proof of license at time of submission; pending licenses are not accepted
• Requests for time off (RTO) must be approved at time of submission; no approvals after offer
• Call-outs require more than 24 hours’ notice
• Cannot guarantee every holiday off
