Job Details

• Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekend Requirement: None
• No floating or on-call duties
• Experience required in all Mammography exams
• Knowledge of mammographic imaging techniques and procedures for diagnosis and early detection of breast diseases in women
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Pewter

Required Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ARRT (R) – Radiography
• ARRT (M) – Mammography

Additional Certifications (may be required)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIH Stroke Certification
• State License Verification (Primary Source Verification required)
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable)

Compliance & Background Checks

• 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
• Education verification or official transcript
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
• Pennsylvania-specific: Child Abuse Search and Department of Human Services Fingerprint Results required within 12 months of start
• Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 60 days prior to start
• Physical Exam: Physician statement within 2 months of start
• Fit Mask Test: Required within 12 months prior to start (3M 1870+ model)
• Immunizations:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (current)
  • Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days) or Chest X-Ray if positive
  • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer (exempt if born before 1957)
  • Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or declination accepted
  • Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
  • Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 1)
• COVID-19 Vaccine: No longer required prior to start; exemptions require mask use at work

Orientation & Training

• Facility-specific modules (~6 hours) must be completed prior to orientation
• Pass/Fail Basic Dysrhythmia Exam required during orientation (one attempt only)
• Signed acknowledgements for safety manual and pass/fail testing required

References & Work History

• 2 professional references within 2 years of start
• Work history verification required (specific to NJ candidates, but good practice for all)

Notes

• Return to Office (RTO) required upon submission
• No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers accepted

This position is ideal for Mammography Technologists with at least 1 year of experience who are looking for a travel contract in Pennsylvania with a stable day shift and no weekend or on-call requirements.
