Job Opportunity: MRI Technician

Location: Dover, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 11 weeks

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: 36 hours/week

  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Monday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 12:30 PM – 11:00 PM
• Work Locations: Split between main campus in Dover, NH and Pease location in Portsmouth, NH
• Required Experience: Philips and Epic system experience
• Licensing: New Hampshire Imaging Tech License required upon submission

Required Certifications and Licenses

• BLS (AHA preferred; Red Cross accepted in some cases)
• ARRT (MRI) Certification
• New Hampshire Imaging Tech License
• Professional license verification (Primary Source Verification required)

Health and Safety Requirements

• N95 Fit Test within 365 days of start date, updated annually (no religious exemptions)
• Documentation of MMR vaccination or immunity
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30) with no exemptions
• TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
• Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred (optional)
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)
• Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray

Background and Compliance Checks

• Criminal background check covering past 7 years, including international searches if applicable
• Education verification (highest level achieved)
• Social Security Number trace covering past 7 years
• National sex offender registry check
• Exclusion checks against OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists
• New Hampshire state-specific criminal and BEAS record checks

Documentation and Submission Requirements

• Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
• Two recent professional references (minimum one supervisor or above)
• Skills checklist
• Candidate submission coversheet
• Confirmation of assignment/POI form upon acceptance

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
• Must have a valid New Hampshire license at time of submission
• Experience with Philips and Epic systems is mandatory
