Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy) - Travel/Contract

Location: Fayetteville, Georgia
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3x10 hour shifts
• Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
• Daily Caseload: Approximately 25 patients
• Floating: Within skillset
• Call: 4-5 days in 6 weeks
• Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
• Holidays: Expected to work 2 out of 3 major holidays if needed
• Start Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance results in a 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy)
• Minimum Experience: 1+ year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (unit accepts first-time travelers)

Required Certifications & Skills

• Inpatient and outpatient nursing skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC accepted
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required for RN in specified specialties; confirm if required for Endoscopy
• Other certifications may be required depending on specialty and unit (refer to clinical track documents)

Competency Exams

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (required for RNs by Aya)
• Color Blind Testing (required for all candidates)
• Competency Exam (required for Nursing by Aya)
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required for certain units; confirm if applicable)

Health & Background Requirements

• Background check completed within 30 days of start
• Education verification (degree verification or official transcripts/diploma)
• State nursing license verification (must be licensed in Georgia)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (cannot start with results pending)
• Physical exam within 12 months of start
• TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
• Required immunizations or proof of immunity:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis B (series, titer, or signed declination)
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• TB Questionnaire (updated annually)

Additional Requirements

• Skills checklist within 12 months (updated annually)
• Verification of most recent work history (can be pending at start with proof it is in process)
• Two clinical references required by Aya (not required by client)
• Review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance Policy

Notes

• This position is suitable for nurses with at least 1 year of experience in the specialty and does not require prior travel experience.
• Compliance with all certifications, health screenings, and competency exams is mandatory before or at the start of the contract.
• Candidates must be prepared for floating within their skillset and working some holidays as needed.
