Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 10 weeks
• Shift Schedule: Variable start, call required, floating to sister facilities as needed (Cascade Valley and Skagit Valley)
• Call Required: No
• Floating Required: Yes, to sister facilities as needed
• EMR System: EPIC

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)
• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Additional certifications may be required depending on unit (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, EFM, ENPC, NIH Stroke Certification) – check unit specifics

Background & Compliance

• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
• Education verification required (US equivalency documentation if education completed out of county)
• Drug testing: 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start
• References: 2 professional references completed within 1 year of start required

Health & Immunization Requirements

• Tdap vaccine or signed declination
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within required timeframe
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella): 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of 3 doses or signed declination
• Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer
• Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge
• Completion of facility-specific confidentiality, crime disclosure, and conflict of interest forms
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
