Job Opportunity: Travel RN - ICU

Location: Warsaw, Indiana

Position Details

• Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift: Nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, every 3rd weekend
• On-call: No on-call requirements
• Floating: May be asked to float to MS Telemetry unit
• Block Scheduling: Not available

Facility & Unit Information

• Facility Bed Count: 72 beds
• Unit Bed Count: 14 beds
• Monthly Department Volume: 175 patients
• Patient Ratio:

  • 3:1 or 2:1 depending on patient type
  • 1:5 if MS overflow

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Licensure: RN Indiana license required
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• Experience: 2 years critical care experience (higher value between 1-2 years)
• Skills:

  • Critical care skills required
  • No ECMO or trauma ERRT experience needed
• EMR System: Cerner
• Additional Requirements:

  • Current driver's license
  • Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)

Scope of Role

• Care for ventilator-dependent patients
• Manage IV drips and IV sedation
• Occasional after-hours recoveries
