Job Opportunity: Pharmacist (Travel)
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Facility Type: Inpatient Acute Hospital (44 Beds + Emergency Department)

Job Description
- Responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient distribution of pharmaceutical agents to patients of all ages and hospital areas.
- Practice in compliance with state/federal laws, DEA regulations, TJC standards, and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with physicians on drug selection and dosing.
- Educate nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medications.
- Participate in medication safety initiatives.
- Manage patient profiles and report adverse drug reactions.
- Prepare IV admixtures and nutritional supplements.
- Maintain narcotic accountability.
Requirements
- License: Arizona Pharmacist License required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pharmacist in an inpatient acute hospital setting.
- Board certification and/or accredited pharmacy residency preferred but not required.
- Schedule: 7 nights on / 7 nights off, 8:00 PM – 7:00 AM.
- No on-call duties.
- EMR system used: Cerner.
Contract Length
- 13 weeks.
Additional Information
- Holidays: Pharmacy remains open on recognized holidays.
- No prior travel experience explicitly required.
