Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Lebanon, Pennsylvania
Specialty: Registered Nurse
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW) as needed
- Holidays: As needed
- Floating: Will float to all Medical-Surgical floors and potentially rehab
- Patient Population: May care for COVID-19 patients
- Facility Environment: Tobacco and fragrance-free
Experience & Certifications
- Minimum Specialty Experience: 2 years
- Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Additional Requirements:
- EPIC experience required
Time Off & Scheduling
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
Background Checks & Clearances
- 7-year criminal background check (must be current within 30 days of start)
- Pennsylvania State Police PATCH search (must be finalized prior to start)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check (within 30 days of start)
- HHS/OIG check (within 30 days of start)
- PA FBI Fingerprinting (required within 1 year of start; candidate may start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (must be completed within 5 years; candidate may start with results pending but must be finalized within 45 days)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 90 days of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NPT
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot) within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted)
- Immunizations or positive titers for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (positive titer or full vaccine series)
- Varicella
- Flu vaccine or valid medical/religious exemption required annually during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine, medical/religious exemption, or declination accepted
- Drug testing: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 1 year (Aya requirement only)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
Professional Documentation
- State nursing license verification (primary source online verification)
- NURSYS verification for RN license
- Highest level of education verification (degree, diploma, or transcripts)
- 2 professional references within 3 years
- Most recent resume or employment application
- Annual skills checklist
- Performance evaluations completed onsite during assignment
Competency Exams & Training
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam (pass/fail) required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
- Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing required for all RNs except OR and Home Health
- Completion of WellSpan Health Learning Management System (LMS) modules prior to start
- New hire orientation required by end of first day
