Description

Job Opportunity: RN Acute Care - Med-Surg Adult - Nights

Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an Acute Care/Med-Surg Adult setting.
Utilize specialized knowledge related to critical disease states to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Work primarily on the OBS Unit with a growing census due to increased orthopedic surgeries, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illnesses.
12-hour night shifts including weekend rotations.
Must participate in call rotation, taking 1 call shift every 2 weeks as needed.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar.
Current RN license valid in Colorado.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions).
Must live at least 75 miles away from the facility (radius rule).

Additional Information

Traveler housing available: newly remodeled studio apartments and small one-bedroom units near the hospital (fully furnished, utilities included).
No pets allowed.
Housing availability is limited and based on availability.
