Job Opportunity: RN Coordinator (Travel)
Location: Austin, Texas

Job Description
- Develops and oversees nursing programs related to patient care and clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
- Develops and documents care plans and therapy programs.
- Ensures implementation of plan of care and therapy programs, securing necessary resources and equipment.
- May supervise and direct nursing staff.
- Coordinates, assembles, and maintains required documentation.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Health & Immunization Requirements
- MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer (no declinations accepted)
- Fit Test: Required for all travelers, preferred prior to start, updated annually
- Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement
- TB Screening: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within a year, and annual TB questionnaire
- 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) within 30 days of start
- Varicella: Proof of two vaccines, immunity, or history verified by healthcare provider (no declinations accepted)
- Tdap: Valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted
- Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
Background & Verification Requirements
- Ascension Profile (Resume or professional profile)
- At least two professional references prior to first assignment
- Criminal Background Check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender, and other checks within 30 days of assignment
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check within 90 days of start
- Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
- Confirmation of Assignment documentation upon initial assignment and updates upon extension
- Third-party employment verification for the past seven years
Additional Requirements
- Ascension Skills Checklist (clinical skills competency) completed within one year of start and updated annually
- Some optional checklists and evaluations may be required by the facility/unit
