Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Cardiology - Registered Nurse

Location: Waconia, Minnesota
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Cardiac Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift Times:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Years of Experience Required: At least 2 years
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Weekend Requirement: None
• On-call Requirement: No
• Floating: Will float as needed to clinics within a 20-mile radius
• Block Schedule: Accommodated
• Locals Accepted: No (must be outside 100-mile radius)
• Pending License: Accepted
• Return to Office Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days

Required Certifications & Experience

• Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• Clinical Experience:

  • Epic (Excellian) charting experience required
  • Cardiology experience required
  • Assessment skills including:

    • Interpretation of laboratory results
    • Medication reconciliation
    • Obtaining 12 lead EKG/ECG
    • Obtaining vital signs
    • Patient health questionnaire/history/allergies
  • Cardiovascular experience including:

    • Arrhythmia interpretation
    • Cardiac arrest/CPR
    • Chest pain management
    • AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use
    • Hypertension management

• Guaranteed hours may be subject to cancellation without penalty.
