RN - Home Health (Travel)

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 08:00 - 17:00
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Weekend Schedule:

  • Every other weekend rotation with a day off during the week, OR
  • Permanent schedule options based on agency needs:

    • Monday-Friday with weekends off every other weekend
    • Tuesday-Saturday with Sunday and Monday off
    • Sunday-Thursday with Friday and Saturday off
• Call Requirements:

  • No overnight call
  • Call back required 2-4 times per month between 17:00-20:00
  • Notification by 17:00 if an extra visit is needed; if no visit scheduled by then, no call required
• Float Requirements: None

Experience & Certifications

• Required Years of Experience: At least 2 years in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
• Required Certifications: BLS
• Education Modules: Not specified

Skills & Qualifications

• Must Have:

  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
  • Experience with OASIS documentation
  • Home Health care experience
• Preferred Skills:

  • IV therapy
  • Tube feeds
  • VAC dressings
  • Compression wraps
  • Port access
  • Ostomies
  • Chest tubes
  • S/p catheters
  • Lab draws

Patient Population

• Adult patients with medical-surgical, oncology, cardiac, neurological, respiratory, wound care, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary conditions

Work Environment & Equipment

• Case manager for 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day
• May be reassigned as a re-visitor if agency needs change during contract
• Provided equipment includes agency laptop, iPhone with case and chargers, mouse, nursing supply bin, nursing bag with vital signs equipment, and INR machine
• All equipment must be returned upon contract completion
