Location: Odessa, Texas

Position Details

- PALS (as applicable)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (if applicable)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) (if applicable)
- State Nursing License verification within 30 days of start
- NURSYS Verification within 30 days of start
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication/Pharmacology) required onsite at orientation with up to 3 attempts
Health & Safety Requirements
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start (must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing)
- Fit Mask Test within 1 year, updated annually (N-95 or approved masks only; no PAPR accepted)
- Immunizations and Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years
- Negative TB test or Chest X-Ray (PPD, QGold, or TSpot within 1 year; Chest X-Ray within 2 years if positive)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines required; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Hepatitis B: Positive titer, series, or declination required
- Varicella: Positive titer or 2 vaccines; booster if low/equivocal titer
- Drug Testing: Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; must meet facility requirements and be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
- Flu Vaccine or Declination required during flu season (Oct-April); mask required if declined
Facility-Specific Requirements
- Completion of facility-specific documents including:
- Notice of Employment
- Standards of Conduct and Behavior
- Dress Code Policy Acknowledgement
- Agency Checklist
- COVID Declination (if applicable)
- HIPAA and Fair Warning Quiz Modules (within 72 hours of signing)
- Orientation and Safety Training Modules (within 72 hours of signing)
- Annual TB Questionnaire (updated if gap >30 days)
- Completion of various pre-start forms related to health records, code of conduct, confidentiality, and orientation
