Job Details

• Schedule: 80 hours per pay period (5 shifts of 8 hours each)
• Shift Start Times: Variable (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend rotation required
• On-Call: Not required
• Floating: Not required
• Local Candidates: Accepted

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Level 1 Trauma Experience: Required
• Surgery Experience: Preferred but not required
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Certifications & Licenses Required

• BLS (Basic Life Support): Current, American Heart Association or RQI certification accepted
• AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists): Required
• Additional Preferred Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – preferred for ER and applicable areas
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – as applicable
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – as applicable
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – required for ER placements (or ATCN as substitute)
• State License: Current Michigan license required (no pending state license accepted)

Job Environment & Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced department performing general diagnostic exams for Emergency Department and inpatient units
• Facility is a Magnet, Teaching hospital with Level 1 Trauma designation
• Charting system: Epic
• Scrub color: Hunter Green
• Parking: Free with badge

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Valid Driver’s License/State ID
• Social Security Card
• E-Verify compliance
• Background checks including:

  • 7 years of county and state checks
  • Social Security Number Trace
  • National Criminal History Search (7 years)
  • National Sex Offender Database Search
  • FACIS Level 3 Search
  • Education verification
• Physical exam within 12 months, noting latex sensitivity
• OSHA Respirator Fit Mask form completed prior to start
• Immunizations and health documents:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination series or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
• 10-panel drug screen with THC within 30 days of start
• Flu vaccination or declination during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31)
• References: 2 from previous employers
• Resume with 7-year work history
• Skills checklist and competency exams as required
